La Cana
by P.B. Dye

“Not only was I the same age as my dad was when I built my first seaside course, but just like him, I also ended up with a house on the seventh tee”

- P.B. Dye

La Cana is a 27-hole layout that consists of the original 18 that is routed by the sea, and a newer nine that rambles inland. Most players gravitate to the Tortuga and Arrecife nines in order to get the full ocean-golf experience. Both feature ocean stretches, highlighted by the finishing hole on Arrecife that often gets compared to the 18th at Pebble Beach.

The newer Hacienda nine may not have ocean holes, but it does have very wide fairways and a reputation for being La Cana's most strategic and challenging collection of holes.

No matter which routing you play at La Cana, the five sets of tees ensure that golfers of any skill level can choose a distance that's manageable and appropriately challenging.

Depending on which 18 you play, The course plays up to 7,444 yards from the tips, and 5,232 from the front set of tees.
